Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Logan Murphy, who runs Visado. By using the service you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. What Visado is, and what it is not

Visado helps you plan and keep track of a Spanish student visa application. It turns your answers into a suggested order of tasks with suggested dates, and explains what each step involves.

It is not legal or immigration advice, and we are not immigration advisers. We have no relationship with any consulate, embassy or government body, and no influence over any decision made about you. Where our guidance differs from what your consulate or an official source tells you, they are right and we are wrong.

2. Dates, costs and requirements are estimates

Every date, duration and price in the app is an estimate built from published information and typical experience. Requirements, fees and processing times change without notice and vary between consulates and between applicants. We check our content and mark what has been verified, but we cannot promise any of it is current or complete on the day you read it.

You are responsible for confirming what applies to you with your consulate and other official sources before you act, and particularly before you book travel or pay for anything.

3. Your account

You need an account to save a timeline. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement, and if you are under 16 a parent or guardian should manage the account for you. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.

4. The app is free, and how we are paid

Visado is free. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no feature withheld until you pay. We earn a commission when you choose to book a service through the app or follow one of our partner links.

That arrangement has an obvious pull on us, so we hold ourselves to three things. Those services are provided by independent companies, not by us, and your contract for them is with them. Using them is always optional and you can arrange any of them yourself. Where a free or official route exists, we say so and we do not take money to hide it.

5. Using the service properly

Please do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, scrape or republish our content commercially, or use the app to mislead anyone. We may suspend or close an account that does.

6. Our content

The guides, checklists and the app itself belong to us. You are welcome to use them for your own application and to tell other people about them. You may not republish them as your own or sell them.

7. Where our responsibility ends

We provide the service as it is, and do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors.

We are not liable for a refused or delayed visa, a missed deadline or appointment, money spent on documents, translations or travel, or any other loss that follows from relying on an estimate in the app rather than checking with an official source. This is why the point above about verifying things matters.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.

8. Changes and ending

We may change these terms, and will update the date above when we do. If a change is significant we will tell account holders rather than change the page quietly. You may stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may withdraw the service, and would give notice and time to export anything you need.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the place you live.
